Haha exactly I love listening/watching podcasts or videos that I can improve from. I usually like to do it over lunch or dinner.
I actually find it entertaining.
I think right now is one of the most important times ever to be working on developing valuable skills.
People are predicting we will be moving from a job based economy to a skill based economy in the coming future, especially once AI and automation starts coming in.
So now is the time to be developing skills.
People say that financial security and financial freedom are the best things to reach but the problem is these things can still be taken away (as we have recently seen)
What people should really be striving for is 'financial confidence' which comes from having valuable skill that allows you to generate money for yourself no matter what is happening with the ecomony or in the world.
Thus financial confidence, because no matter what happens you can make money. That's the power of developing skills.
So great article mate :)
I will say though that I respectfuly disagree that AI will take over things like art and music. I believe there is no doubt that AI will begin creating art and music and perhaps even be better in some instances.
But no matter what people will always seek out real and genuine human connection. And will always be drawn more to art created by another human than an AI.
You could even argue that once AI comes in real artists and music creators will actually do even better because people will be seeking out true human connection more than ever, thus they will become more valuable and sort after.
No matter what AI will never be able to replace real human to human connection and contact.
Thats my two bobs anyway. Thanks again for the article mate. Keep it up.
